I was just wondering how the Air Force fans felt last Sunday after they came within a point of pulling the upset? Were they as pissed-off as some of us? Was blame being assigned?

I don't know if this was touched on earlier and I'm not sure if these random thoughts even deserve a thread. Just something that crossed my mind.

Only the most ardent Air Force homers thought that they had any shot of beating us. So to lose by a point was a moral victory for them.

On the other hand, we believed that we had a good chance of winning going into this game. And we actually had opportunities to do so, but just couldn't cash them in. I think a lot of us would have felt much better about the whole thing if UF had just laid the wood to us by 3 TD's.

Pulling off an upset.

Losing the lead.

Two different things here, it is just ironic that they were both by one point.
