After she was cancel-culture'd, Funderburg has been hired by the UT system as a Digital Content Strategist. There had been talk that maybe she would return to the sidelines but I guess that's not happening.

Any idea who it will be going forward? I assume they have to fill that role.

Don’t know, but glad that Casey was able to move past that BS and get a position back in the UT System.

There was no replacement. Swain did the job to finish the season.

I thought I saw a recent interview with a player and the person interviewing was a young female and I assumed that was her replacement. But now I can't remember the video or who it was. I'll do some more digging.

It was very stupid what she was cancelled for, but that's where we are as a society. I bet she wished she never responded to the parody tweet that caused all the mess.

Society is messed up sometimes. A coach fired for reading the words on a computer screen. A QB's scholarship offer revoked for singing lyrics of a song. A journalist fired for a comment made in her youth. . . the list goes on and on. People today are so soft and offended by everything.

I agree. I saw a video of Kid Rock shooting 100s of dollars worth a beer because he didn't like who they put on the can.

Swain will continue the sideline role.
