You have to understand Luther's mindset. He has spent two days refining and defending it. His side's goals are righteous, so anything they do, no matter how evil, immoral or disgusting, is justified.

I find this whole thing about judge Ks drinking hypocritical. I have some thoughts on Fords drinking that has apparently been glossed over because she's the "victim".

Does anyone find it credible that she recalls that she had exactly one beer? It's amazing to me that she has that self serving memory, and yet she does not recall how she got home that night. It seems that getting home that night would have been memorable. She unexpectedly fled a home under duress, she did not have her own vehicle there and it was before the age of cell phones so she didn't just reach in her purse to call mom to come pick her up.

Did she bang on a neighbor's door and ask to use the phone? If so, who did she call? Mom? How did she explain being at a stranger's house? Hitch a ride with someone who happened to be passing by?

It's a shame that she wasn't subject to effective cross examination on that issue.

So the "bombshell" for the media today is that there are text messages from K "proving" that he testified falsely because he knew about the Ramirez allegations prior to publication of the New Yorker article? But it turns out K explicitly stated in testimony that he had heard that Ramirez was calling classmates for corroboration of some type of allegation before publication?

The ethic that immoral actions can be justified and redeemed by their intended results. You've admitted to the ethic and, knowing what a monster it makes of you, you've spent two days trying to make everyone else as guilty as you--trying to prove that others believe it as well.

Do a recent history search of all of his posts in this thread. He's literally spent days laying out for us the belief that immoral is excusable if it accomplishes what you want. I just kept him going as long as he'd go over the past two days because it's logged more posts to prove it.
