Saw that as soon as I turned the TV on. Sad, she was battling skin cancer. Definitely praying for the entire Cowher/Young family

As a cancer survivor, it's always terrible to hear of someone who lost their fight. My thoughts and prayers go out to the Cowher family.

And while it's terrible that she passed, I'm glad Bill Cowher at least got to spend a few years with his focus on only her instead of her and an entire NFL organization. He's a good coach though, and I hope he comes back eventually - whether it be college or NFL.

Answers the question of why Bill so abruptly left a job where he was highly successful as well as not returning to the game. Glad he was able to devote his full time to her remaining days.
