Not sure I see the athleticism to play at this level, and he certainly doesn't look to have the tools to defend like Barnes will want. Still, he can do one thing....shoot.

HIGH SCHOOL: Played at Pulaski Academy... as a junior, averaged 12 points per game, shot 48 percent beyond the 3-point line, made 52 3s and shot 90 percent from the free throw line… moved on to play at Hargrave Military Academy… scored 53 points and made 15 3-pointers in one game… will rejoin forces with Hargrave teammate Madison Durr on The Citadel court this season.

TN playing walk-ons other than in blowouts seems to have become ancient history. Other than coach’s kids, IIRC it’s been a minute since it has happened. Rosters were probably under 13 and injuries might have been a factor. They now make their biggest contributions playing roles on scout teams.

If he has a SUPERIOR handle in press breaking mode, and still hits 90% of FT’s he may have a role. Also as a distributor if among the redshirts and newbies we added a couple of volume shooters to ZZ and Santiago IF getting it down court is a Skill. Bet the staff has a plan and the kid is willing to take a shot in order to play big time BB. RISK/Reward is what it is that far down the bench. If he is celebrating l am celebrating.
