Chaney, Pittman, Graham, Ansley. The defensive coaches could all go IMO unless Sunseri wants to stay as a LB coach only with a pay deduction. IMO we have to keep Ansley, Pittman, and Graham. Chaney I want but if we go to the dreaded Spread Chaney won't be needed I guess.

Nobody from the defense should be retained. I'm guessing Ansley is being thrown in for his recruiting abilities? I can understand that as long as he has NO coaching assignments. He showed his coaching abilities last year and they were not impressive.

Jones has my blessing to hire and retain who he pleases. He understands what league he is in. He understands that defense wins in the SEC. And he understands that you shape your scheme based on the talent you have in place. He needs to have the liberty to hire and fire whom he pleases. This guy is 44. Should he succeed, this could be a long marriage. You can't just think about the right now. Long term.

Offense:
Off. co-ord and QB coach: Mike Bajakian 6 years
Running backs: Roy Manning 1 year
Off. line coach: Don Mahoney 6 years
Wide Receivers: T.J. Weist 3 years also recruiting co-ord

Defense:

Defensive Co-ordinator and LB: John Jancek 3 years was LB coach at Georgia for 5 years
Spec Teams and Safeties: Mark Elder 6 years also has coached LB, RB, and TE for Jones
CB: Shannon Morrison 1 year
D Line: Steve Stripling 4 years

Strength and Cond: Dave Lawson 6 years

Jones was at Central Mich for 3 years and Cincy for 3. Anyone who has more than 3 years with him, moved with Jones to Cincy from Cent. Mich. It looks to me like several of these guys might come with him again if asked.
