Seriously, Volnation, I understand the frustration. I have only been watching Tennessee football since my acceptance into UT in 2009. It's so hard to be so passionate about a team when you have no 'glory days' to look back on like many of you do, but I do it anyway... without having unrealistic expectations.

It seems to me that had CBJ's team not done so well against Georgia and USCjr, these people here would not have gotten their hopes up in beating the #1 and #9 teams in the country on the road. Really, guys, most of us projected a 6-7 win season at best, yet suddenly, we put together two strong games at home, and we expect to win out and have all of our depth, talent, and youth issues from Dooley to just vanish?

I understand that Tennessee has looked poorly coached and unprepared the last two weeks, but playing against top 10 teams on the road will do that to a team primarily filled with Dooley-era players. It won't change overnight.

There have been substantial signs of hope, but a lot of you let that hope blind you from the fact that we've known from the start that this wouldn't be an overnight process. If anything, CBJ and this team 117 have taken strides much sooner than expected. Don't let these last two weeks make you forget that.

P.S. Dobbs set multiple Tennessee records for true freshmen last night along with the longest scramble by a QB since Tee in 1999. Give him some time. I think he can bring us a bright future.

I don't think many expected wins but maybe just a smidgen of competitiveness.

The defense is in for another long day vs AU next weekend. The offense has to try and put some drives together to help because they will need all the help they can get.

Could be worse around here after next game.

Start by benching Toney and J Smith and the team will automatically be better
