The only way the red team can get out of this being a close game is by making plays with special teams and forcing turnovers.

I think this could potentially be an edge for us.

Go Vols. Believe!

Bama has 2 fumbles, two ints and we block a punt. This gives TN lots of short fields and helps TN overcome Bama's tough D. This also takes away a number of Bama's opportunities to score. TN wins on a last second Palardy field goal. 27- 24 VOLS WIN.

I am not getting paid to analyze this game for any media outlet. Nor am I trying to empress my fellow VN members with my deep understanding of football and express all the reasons why we can't or won't beat bama. I am merely a fan who loves the Vols.

So with my orange tinted glasses on, and a big glass of orange kool aid in hand I say:

We gonna wip de azz!

The red team will have stalled drives. This will be the bulk of what they give us. At this point 2 red turnovers would be highly lucky for us, much less 4 and a blocked punt.

My point is that if we don't give them turnovers and can stop them from getting big plays on special teams, we can create temporary break-downs to their reactive system that translate to them having stalled drives and giving our O time on the field to find plays.

That is the same score I projected for the "pick the score contest". You and I could be Heroes or Goats.

Don't count on 5 turnovers to win a game.

We'll be lucky to get 2.

To win this game, we'll have to play perfect with no turnovers, and if we create any, we need TD's

The red teams D isn't that good this year. They have weaknesses.

We gotta get 6s and not 3s when in the red zone, put pressure on McCarron & cause a few turnovers. Most importantly remind Worley that he doesn't have to win this game for us, just don't do anything to lose it. Basically manage it the way he has against Georgia & USCe

Go Big Orange

Ron Swanson, who is always a credible source, scoured the following data from Alabama boards:

"Starting NT Brandon Ivory is suspended this week. Backup DEs LaMichael Fanning and Anthony Orr are also suspended.

Sounds like true freshman A'Shawn Robinson will take the NT spot.

Dee Liner will probably burn his RS this week @ DE. Saban mentioned him last night in his presser. "We will probably have to play him this week on the defensive line."

CB Bradley Sylve who started last few games is out with injury. True freshman Cyrus Jones named starter. His first career start" (http://www.volnation.com/forum/tenn...-recruiting-forum-football-talk-viii-148.html).

I know that Alabama has tremendous depth across the board, but these data, along with safety Sal Sunseri's season-ending knee injury, makes me wander if Butch doesn't have an extra special dose of uptempo, smashmouth, hit-them-between-the-tackles ground game in store for the tidy bowl boys tomorrow.
