Moore and Shuler aren't on scholarship. Jackson and Iamaleava, combined, have three more completed passes in college than I do.

We have all seen how he over throws and how he can put a hole in a receiver at 15 yards. Im just curious mainly how many are confident he can go a whole season as starter and be somewhat successful. Maybe someone could create a pole for this question.

A pure drop back passer with hardly any mobility does not appear to be a good fit for Heupel's offense. Slovis looked like a statue when we played them earlier in the year.

If he enters the portal, it will be to head to Tuscaloosa where he originally committed before flipping to UNC.

People need to realize you can get good players out of the portal but you have to sift through. Some folks act like the all players in the portal can help you. Recruiting is still the number 1 key. You have be even better at evaluations in the portal. GBO

I suspect it'll come down to how comfortable the staff is with turning the reigns over to Jackson or Iamaleava as one or the other is a bad hit away from being the starter in the most important position on the team, even more so in a Heupel offense.

Some additional depth would be awesome, but we're essentially looking for someone who has one year left and willing to compete against Milton after two years in the system for the starter role and/or content to be a backup. Everyone knows that Nico is the heir-apparent.

We got incredibly lucky w/Hooker. Maybe we can do it again. Heupel's track record for developing QBs is about as good any anyone's.

I believe he has what it takes to start the entire season.
