Nominees for the illustrious prep all-star game were announced on Thursday, with both of Tennessee’s two signees in the 2021 recruiting class making the cut — five-star point guard Kennedy Chandler and four-star wing Jahmai Mashack.

What a find and recruiting job on Mashack by this staff. California kid who has never been to Knoxville. If this team next year gets good production from the post we will be top 10 all year. Unfortunately, the McDonald's All-American game has been canceled this year...again. I feel sad for Chandler. In lieu of an actual game, they're going to do a virtual ceremony to honor the selections. Feels pretty dumb that an entire high school season can unfold across the U.S. but they can'r bring together 20-25 kids to play a game of basketball with no fans?
