Kentucky/Bledsoe investigation

Doesn't look like anything would happen to Cal even if Bledsoe cheated.

I don't see what one has to do with the other.

If nothing happened to Cal in the D Rose case, why would anything now?

UK has a history of pulling stunts such as the ones Bledsoe is being investigated for.

It looks like the main part of the investigation revolves around academic issues. I'm assuming this would have happened regardless of which college he played at, thus making it an issue with his old HS/coach.

I don't care what happens to Cal. I just want the UK fans who have been screaming for the past year that he will be born again at UK to feel the burn.

Indeed. But I was referencing the rent issue/finances involved in the story. UK does have a history of buying players/improper benefits.

I agree that he's dirty, but the NCAA doesn't and that's what I was talking about.

Agreed entirely, but the NCAA wouldn't know cheating if it punched them right in the face, as evidenced by the botching of their multiyear investigation into USC football.

This investigation has nothing to do with cheating or grades or whatever. This is about the money. The NCAA operates like a pimp. If one of their hoes is out making any type of money on the side then they have to show how strong their pimp hand is.

UK just didn't pay their taxes.

Indeed. Point taken. :hi:

I don't know if that's entirely true.

I forget who it was, but the NCAA investigated a former KU player (Chalmers?) for academic impropriety. Of course, nothing happened.

Yet it happened to the very coach that had a player caught cheating on his SATs last year as well. Darn the luck!

I'm just glad Daniel West never suited up and help lead us to the elite 8.

And that Ohio State kept us from advancing in 2007.

And that Louisville spanked us in the round of 16 in '08.
