since i stopped my home delivery of the post my thoroughbred knowledge has gone down considerably..

Seeing as Baffert might have 1/4 of the field, I'll have what he's having.

I've been watching replays of the preps and seems like all the horses getting attention are going to be burning some absurd fractions. This horse came from way off pace at the Florida Derby at Gulfstream, which is stypically a speed favoring track. He also had a bullet work the other day and seems primed.

M/L was 10-1, but with the favorite scratched and everybody talking pace, I think 7-1 would be very fair, though 6-1 is not out of the question.
