Kentucky continues to come up big in recruiting by landing David Sims from South Carolina. The Cats received arguably the best athlete in the state of South Carolina. Sims is a three star athlete (and just a hair from a four star by both services), but more importantly to me, he has offers from top schools. He chose Lexington over the following programs:

Tennessee
Florida
Florida State
Michigan
Kansas
Alabama

Tennessee had long been considered the favorite and the choice of Sims and early signs all pointed to Knoxville. But Sims said he chose the Cats because of the “family atmosphere” of the program and his long relationship with Joker Phillips.

I heard he wanted to be around for the 25th anniversary of UK's last victory over UT.

If he stays four years, he'll be 3-1 vs. the Vols. Yeah, I said it. You can right it down! :yahoo:

This post once again shows how we are not a top program anymore. Its breaking news that we lose a 3 star athlete to Kentucky!:eek:hmy:

Disagree. Your program is down by the standard set there. It'll come back.

Bear Bryant's Kentucky teams never beat Tennessee. Bryant never beat General Neyland and the General was still coaching UT after the Bear left Kentucky.

Bryant coached Kentucky from 1946 through 1950 and General Neyland was the UT coach during Bryant's stay at Kentucky. General Neyland never lost a game to Bryant.

The worst part is when a guy from the Bluegrass state comes on here talking crap, and no one wants to argue with him.

OMG, a kin****y fan misspelled a word!!!??? That must be the first time in history(see dripping sarcasm). Here, let me right the post that you wrote incorrectly. Go home and get realistic troll. See you after another 20 or so losses in a row. BTW, Bruce Pearl says hi.

Bryant was at UK from 1946-1953. He was 1-5-2 against UT during that time period by my count.

You know who else is a nice addition...Scotty Hopson. Oh nevermind, he plays for the Vols dang that must stink. Getting handled in football every year and then we take a basketball star from you. But hey I still like to see the high hopes you UK fans have!
