Kind of surprised there wasn't a thread already here, with Miss St having the lead and all

however miss st is starting to play like miss st again, so I'm not expecting them to hold it

Usually Kentucky is lights out.. Just an off night. I say they're down at half and come back and win by at least 5.

I predicted somewhere else that MSU would shoot lights out, and so far they are lighting it up. UK refusing to play much D. I'll take a humbling loss here then ride this beech out to the hardware.

The two best teams that KY has beaten, in the opponent's gym, are Vandy and Tennessee. I'm not saying they're not great; just saying it's not like the schedule's been full of road games vs ranked teams. They haven't been tested as often as most KY teams have by this point in the season.

KY is the most talented team in the nation playing in a less than stellar league. I'd say only 3 teams have a legit chance beating KY on the road.

That being said, they deserve to lose eventually and I'd rather see it now than later.

MSU shooting lights out but KY will find a way to get back in it.

I'm not trying to start a debate over how good KY is. I'm saying the schedule isn't going to prepare them for the NCAAs like a typical KY schedule would.

This team doesn't shoot many threes to begin with. It's lack of perimeter defense that's killing them, along with settling for outside shots. Teague's play has hurt this game, switching Gilchrist over to guard Bost is the only reason this game still isn't 15 points.
