If Tubby gets us to a FF, I think that the natives would be soothed. They suffer from Duke Envy, I'm afraid.

I noticed this the past couple of times I was in Lex... I think its one part envy, one part hatred.

This team looks a LOT different /w Morris, now that they've practiced a little more with him. I still think the overall talent isn't there. UK should always be loaded, at every position. Tubby needs to get on the recruiting trail BAD.

I haven't enjoyed watching them since the start of Tubbyball. Even when we won the NC in '98, it was boring to watch. They win most of the time, but it's not very exciting.

What has the world come to in the SEC?? UT football and UK basketball??? Who would've thought?!

A buddy of mine is a huge UK fan and said that there is alot of talk going around Cat Land about feuds between Sparks and Rondo. Also rumors of players not liking Tubby's system.

New question... is UF NEARLY as good as Lawgator would have us believe? HELL NO.

What are they hanging their hat on? Beating 3 ACC teams (FSU, Miami, WF) that are a combined 4-5 in their own league play? Being up one at halftime right now on a horrid Auburn team that lost to undefeated Pitt by 38!?!? (yes, that's right, a 3, then an 8, put together... 38).

I think the Gators will get a rude awakening soon.

They would have no problem hiring a marquee coach. I would say that anyone excluding Williams and coach K would be fair game. If a change were to occur, I would like to see Rick Majerus or Dennis Felton step in. Donovan, Calipari, Mike Anderson would also be very interested.

Felton? I'm sure Georgia fans would enjoy seeing another coach bolt for UK. :nono:

After watching Morris play today, and the Cats still losing, it's hard to imagine how they won 10 games without him...

I was at the UK game. His offense is clearly better than it was last year, but he got beat on defense so badly that Tubby starting subbing him in and out towards the end of the game.

Read my posts. I said Florida ought to be considered a 3 seed right now in any bracket, which means I have them pegged at around #10-12 in the country. I think that is fair at 16-0 with an admittedly weak SOS. They may end up higher or lower than that. Heck, I don't know. But I think it makes no sense to discount going 16-0 with a few wins versus Top 25 teams.

I would highly doubt that, especially if Tubby was fired. Look at the recent coaching replacements with schools that have the same tradition as UK.

UNC-replace Dean Smith with Guthridge, Guthridge with Dougherty (did either of those work out. No)

Coach Gut was National Coach of the yr, won 58 games in two yrs(highest win total of any two-year coach in NCAA history), won the ACC, and led them to the Final Four...yeah he didn't work out! :lol:


As far as UK I thought Morris would help somewhat..but wow...they have some serious issues on Offense, and the team period. No way Rondo comes back next yr...it could be even worse then
