This is actually the marching bands field, they just let the football team use it warm the crowd up for the halftime show.

They are usually filled decently up. Weather wasn't great for this year.

You can bash UK football for a lot of things, but fan support isn't one of them.

Having said that...you'd think you'd get a decent turnout for your spring game.

This is true. I've never seen more than 10K show up for the Spring game.

And for a team that's had such lack of success historically, fan support is pretty good. This fall may get ugly though if they start off slow.

It looks like the turnout for second-grade girls' basketball when there's something good on TV. (Spoken as a parent of two former second-grade girls' basketball players...)
