Wow. With basketball season kicking into gear, BCS controversy (go figure. . . .), reflections on the season thus far, and predictions for next year so abundant, the upcoming game with our Blue neighbors to the North seems to have gathered minimal attention.
With losses to talented LSU, Florida, and Louisville squads, and a near-miss against South Carolina, the Wildcats are still looking for a big win this year. Let's not forget that they upset Georgia, albeit kicking a dawg that was already down. I, for one, think that UK will come to town ready for a streak-ending, and very disturbing, upset at Neyland.
They're not afraid to give up points, and I think our D-backs will need to have a big game. However, it will be tough for them to go score-for-score with our offense given a healthier Ainge and too many receiving threats to account for. IMO, the difference in this one will come (take a deep breath) on the ground. Look for Coker and the Vols to have a breakout rushing game.
