7-4 right now. Its obvious that the Ball Room venue is bothering both teams, IMO. Balls bouncing wildly, people missing lay-ups. Pretty sloppy.

13-6 at the moment. They should cover,. but its not going to be a high scoring affair, and quite sloppy. This place I believe is in everyones head. Guards look sluggish, were basically winning on rebounds and freethrows, as we have been in the bonus since almost 15 minues left in the first half.


Edit: Huge lob from Wall to Orton. 15-9.

Ramon Harris hurt. Left game holding knee, some speculating its ACL injury.

Patterson also hurt ankle.

Horrible, sloppy, sluggish play.

Do you think the court is causing some of these injuries? I can't believe a program the caliber of Kentucky is playing in that dump.

While I would love to blame it on the floor, both injuries came from coming down on someone elses ankle in a pile up, nothing really to do with the floor. However, I believe in karma sometimes. When you play in crappy places like this, crappy things happen. Just bad mojo or something.

As for why were playing here, DUI Billy scheduled it for us. We can tip our hats to him.


As for the game, 35-27 at the half, after a Harrelson 3. Both teams are fouling everything that moves, including the chandeliers.

Harris back in the game, so obviously the injury is not ACL related.

I don't know if he is or not. Quite frankly I don't give a damn about why Stanford or Virginia is there. Its a craphole, that we have no business playing in.

73-49 is the final. Hopefully Pattersons ankle injury not to serious. Second half was much better than the first. Bledsoe still WFO and out of control. Wall will continue to shoot 400 free throws per game. Shot 50% from three, 5-10.

As for the ballroom, they are rolling up the floor now, to make room for the Cancun senior prom tonight.

I kid, I kid.

When you enter the court from a carpeted hallway with an OPEN BAR, your in the wrong place.

Weirdest place ever for a basketball game. It's basically a big ballroom in a hotel. They didn't even bother taking the chandeliers down.

That pretty much means nobody should be playing in either of the Vegas tournaments. It's not like the Orleans Arena is Madison Square Garden.

Key word. This has a real floor, real locker room, and stands. Not Carpet hallways, imported floors and folding chairs, AND chandeliers.
