This is a really good analysis. Not saying we are 2019 LSU but he does a good job of explaining how that team progressed throughout the season. History will remember them as a juggernaut, but they really weren't until late in the season. They had a 3 different 1-possession wins during that season (Texas, Alabama and Auburn), including a 23-20 win over Auburn at home. Their offense hit stride in November, when they scored 46 vs. Bama, 58 vs. Ole Miss, 56 vs. Arkansas and 50 vs. TAMU. And their D really picked up the pace down the stretch as well.

Thanks for sharing!

There are a lot of similarities between that 19 LSU team and us. The raw athletic ability is comparable. What set that team a notch above is the dog in them . They were confident and aggressive in every move they made in big games . We saw our team take that next step Saturday against Kentucky. If we take that pit bull mentality to the sh** can between the bushes , we'll beat Georgia. If 19 LSU can manhandle that 19 Bama team the way they did, we can definitely handle this version of Georgia.

I must have been typing mine as you posted this. I think we agree that we aren't quite on the level of that LSU's final product, but it's the mental aspect that separates the 2 . We absolutely have the potential to become as good as that team.
