Say what you want. Kentucky is good. I watched them during their trip to Canada this last fall and I wasn't impressed. They played like a high school allstar team. But, they did hit the three and Jones is like a left handed boxer, tough to defend. You have to stay in Knight and Lambs face the whole game and then watch out for Jones. I think Tennessee's problem is that we are long and lean on the wing and we have problems defending quicker smaller wings and guards. GBO and hope we get in the tourney!!

That was the luckiest stretch of 3 pt shooting in the 2nd half by Knight that I have ever seen. He could have stood at half court and heaved it over his head and it more than likely would have gone in. And how about the one he shot out of the corner with Bone draped all over him? Give me a break. Whatever, I hope they go down to the likes of a Morehead St. in the first rd.

Knight is one of the best 3 point shooters in UK history. He went 3 for 7 yesterday, not exactly on fire.

Was Knight the one who picked up his 4th foul with 12 minutes left and Cal put him back in with 10 minutes and let him play out the rest of the game. Whoever it was, we never did attack or go at him to try to pick up his 5th foul.

Another sign of a coaching lapse imo.

Not saying youre wrong but should a coach have to tell a player to do this? Imo no.

You obviously haven't watched all season as he broke Rex Chapmans freshman record for 3's, doing it in the same exact manner as yesterday. Dude has 25-26 foot range and a quick fire release.

The 2008-2009 Vols tend to disagree. Have you ever heard of Jodie Meeks?

It's not luck if no one bothers to guard him. I still see KY fans proudly wearing t-shirts from the day that no one in orange cared to defend their best player.

I haven't watched many games that made me as angry as I was over that one. I'm glad I didn't waste time and money on that lack of coaching and effort. I make the 8-hour drive to TN for some games every year. I was recording that game on a VHS tape. After it was over, I ejected the tape and destroyed it. I was that angry, because I knew KY fans would never let us forget about it. The fact that KY was absolutely horrible and ended up in the NIT made our performance that much more pathetic.

On the positive side, games like that probably had an impact on Bruce Pearl working to improve the team's halfcourt defense, thus resulting in an Elite Eight last year and NIT Tipoff title this year.

Each 3 that he made in the second half was either well guarded, or from long range, that was my point. Yeah, he's an awesome player and was one of the most highley touted (if not the most) recruits in this freshman class. But to sink those threes the way he did, I feel he had a little luck on his side. Each of them was HUGE. Also, I didn't look at the box score and don't recall his numbers, but if he was in fact 3-7 from behind the arc I wouldn't call that bad. He was on fire when he needed to be.

No, I haven't made it a point to watch Kentucky basketball this season except for the two games that we played and one you played against UF. Heard them mention breaking Rex's record, and obviously witnessed his ranged. Hope he jumps to the pros after this year. What are people up there expecting him to do?

Knight is expected to stay. Jones is a top 5 pick right now in the mock drafts, so he's probably gone.

This UK team led the SEC in 3 pt shooting as a team and Lamb led all individuals. We were stupid as hell for leaving so much to provide help down the middle.

There aren't 54 points worth of lucky shots to be had in a single game. The kid was just outrageous, but certainly had proven his worth as a scorer long before torching us that night.
