KHI will shut down it's Truck Series program at the end of the year and move it's Nationwide teams to RCR for next season. Harvick says it's mainly because he wants to focus on winning a Cup title. I don't blame him for that, but it seems wrong to shut down your business and put hundreds of people out of work so you can MAYBE win a championship. Maybe I'm wrong, but it just seems selfish.

This really caught me off guard. I wasn't surprised to see RCR and KHI merge, but to see Kevin get out of all of the business making decisions wasn't something I was expecting.

He is quickly running out of time to win a championship.

Few have past his age now.

I was really surprised when I heard, it sucks to lose another "independent" team. With KHI now out of the truck series and rumors of KBM going to Nationwide that series will fold sooner rather than later. I also think the guy who will really be screwed over is Elliott Sadler, he signed on thinking he was going to stable, competitive team instead is going through the same thing he went through with RPM his last year there. I also would be worried if I was him because RC will give his grandsons the better equipment and give Elliott the hand me downs.

Sad to see this happen, but the reasoning seems sound. He had to have a revolving door of sponsors just to keep the trucks running anyway.

This is a front line championship contending team. It is a statement on the current shape of the truck series if no one wanted to buy the organization, or if Harvick didn't even try to sell.

Sounds like the days may be numbered for the truck series.

Yeah, I didn't see her either. I lept flipping between the interviews and fottball games though.

I would be very surpised if Kevin and Delana were splitting up. If it happened though, it would be big news. I'm surpised that when Michael Waltrip and his wife and Kurt Busch and his wife split up that it didn't make more headlines around NASCAR.

Oh, good to know. That's very respectful of the media. I guess that's why Entertainment Tonight is never seen at the racetrack, not that they would have any reason to be there anyway.

I bet the rest of the sports and entertainment world wished they had an unwritten rule as well.
