Kevin Simon tidbit on Butch Jones

Hubbs posted this in a thread this morning when someone asked if Simon was still a scout for the Cowboys.

He is a scout with the Cowboys and I gotta give him credit. Kevin called me right as Dooley was fired and told me that Butch Jones would be a great fit at Tennessee and was what the Vols needed. Simon had been to Cincy a couple of times in the fall to see practice and scout and he was a huge believer in what Jones was doing there.

No offense but my 9 yr old son could have told me that. Brett B. Is not a great Coach and he will end up wishing he had stayed at Wisc than going to Arky. Good luck playing LSU, Ala and A'M every yr plus AU when they dont suck and when they play UT, UF, GA or USCe. He had it much easier in the pitiful Big 10.

I'm sure Coach Bielema is a good coach but wasn't he the one crying a little over a year ago that Urban was taking recruits that were verbal to Wisc just before Signing day? Something about ethics in recruiting??? Something tells me he is going to have to get really used to cut throat recruiting really quick now. It may prove to be tougher than the analysts believe. But yes, I believe he is a good coach. (Just not great).
