Neither did I. Sumlin was mentioned recently in the Jimbo Fisher/Texas A&M thread and I realized I had no clue where he went after leaving Arizona.

Nothing good happens in Tampa after midnight! I’m not throwing Sumlin under the bus or excusing this. I’ve had a DUI before, but I was 21 at the time and learned my lesson. The state of GA has a strong program for leading one to the light in this area! As they should. And as does Fl and I assume most states.

He certainly isn’t the devil for this, but he should suffer the consequences. Hopefully it doesn’t ruin his career, he is a good coach.

Happened in Florida over the weekend.

That was part of his issues at A&M. I was sitting in the dining area at SEC Media Days (I had a media pass) and Sumlin came right up to our table. Nice guy, but you could smell the previous night on the guy.

It was kind of an open secret that he had (or I guess still has )an issue with the bottle.
