Offense
1) Establish running game early
2) Must finally get a big play
3) better red zone offense
4) must convert on field goals

Defense
1) Contain Shockley scrambling
2) stop third down conversions
3) Force shockley to throw

On offense, Id switch 1 and 2. We gotta take back control of the box and we cant do that unless we make the safeties play back. THEN, you can open up the running game.

Defense, I couldnt agree more.

also, WE NEED A BIG SPECIAL TEAMS PLAY SOMEWHERE!!!

Lucas Taylor is the answer to that one. Even if he doesn;t run one back, some nice solid returns setting up good field position would be great, and in turn will help the O. We are stuck deep too often. Taylor is going to be a big part of the game this week-end. :superman:

Now I am not an expert here but I would have to say the key to win would have to be scoring more points than the other team :birgits_giggle: :birgits_giggle:

P.S. With all this talk about big plays do you think if any of your recievers are thinking about Greg Blue this week?

No. Cause in all of my years of watching, playing reading about, talkin about, coaching football, I dont know of one DB who can cover 2 or more WRs.

I dont know that he is so much thinking about them but praying that our o-line can give him a couple of seconds to breathe. there is no doubt that they will probabley get to him a couple of times. Im just hoping we can establish the run to minimize the damage. I think we will be using alot of two back sets to help pick up the rush. Man Im excited!!!! I hope you guys are too.

The key to winning this game is simple as pie... Lock Randy Sanders up in the closet from 3 pm until 8 pm on saturday!

the ideal start would return the opening kickoff for a td. it would be so uplifting to see the part of the team that has preformed the worst to something big like that to start a big game.

Put in Erik Ainge so we can complete a pass further downfield than 10 yards..........and if he stinks then freaking put in Jim Bob or Lucas Taylor, we're never gonna have a big play if we stick with the Ricky boy Clausen dink and drunk offense.
