1) Win the interior. We need to feed our bigs early and often. The best way to win on the road is to pound the ball inside, especially with the big men that we have.

2) Manage tempo. We need to control the clock and try to shorten the game. If we try to run with Kentucky we will get killed.

3) Defend our asses off. We do this just about every night. But if we're gonna shock the world this HAS to be the focus imo.

I agree. Our offense needs to run through Stokes and Maymon. Additionally, I think Golden is the key. I think the difference in winning and losing depends on Golden's play we need both distribution AND scoring from him.

I don't like our chances. I'll say 72-63 UK. Hope I'm wrong. GO VOLS!!!

1. most important thing IMO is turnovers. if this number is anywhere above 12 i dont like our chances very much, and our turnovers cant lead to transition baskets either.

2. good shot selection late in the shot clock. if we can control the ball by limiting turnovers and wait until late in the shot clock and get good looks that will be huge. shortening the game and limiting possesions for UK will keep this game as close as possible.

3. when we get the ball on the interior go up strong, dont worry about davis blocking your shot if he does oh well but go up strong with it.

4. free throws. with the way we get calls in rupp we probably wont have many opportunities at the line we have to capitalize on the opportunities we get for free points.

5. defend just like we have been. know who you are guarding if its miller or lamb dont help off of them these guys can knock down the 3 and go on a 10-0 run before you can realize what happened.

We need to shoot better from the three point line if we are going to win this game. They are going to defend the inside hard, so we have to be able to knock down 3's

This has to be the plan. I fuly expect this game to get out of hand in the first 5 minutes but if they play D; well maybe we will have a chance. A very small one.
