well i def won't pull for the titans then. he just needs to retire. he made me sick listening to him at the draft. all he did was talk about how those recievers weren't as good as him.

:eek:lol:

I'm sorry but I find that funny.

Keyshawn during the draft...

" Dwayne Jarrett is a great pickup for our team, I am gonna teach him everything, he is just like me, we are gonna be great together..."

Few days later...

" Uhh...Sorry Keyshawn, we drafted Jarrett to replace you :) "

well this is certainly a kick in the butt.......the panthers just refuse to do anything offensively....they can't get out of their own way....why on earth they are keeping colbert is beyond me.....the guy has sucked since he's been there, and carter has had flashes, but is so inconsistent......

they just sent a message to Steve Smith.....and it's "you da man", literally.

nice move Carolina......

That's something the Titans don't need.. A slow ass possession receiver.

I couldn't disagree more, a veteran player who can make a big catch and all the while make the younger receivers better. He is exactly what the Titans need, and if their front office doesn't make a play for him, Titans fans should call for their heads.

Those receivers aren't as good as him, except for CJ, I think the only other one that will have a career even approaching Keyshawn will be Meach.

We already have that guy in David Givens and he doesn't have the attitude that Keyshawn has. He would be piss poor for the Titans. Considering the new GM and how we missed on Mike Williams, I say we're close to inking a deal with him.

For the sake of the Titans, I hope Givens can really step up and take hold of the role he needs to play. As for Mike Williams, I think Titans should be glad they missed on him. Mike Williams will never amount to a thing. He just doesn't have the will.

If the Titans don't want Keyshawn though, the Niners and I will happily let him end his career with us, maybe he can make Ashley Lelie something more than a tall man with stone hands.

well, i don't necessarily disagree with the assesment of KJ, but he was a really good fit for the Panthers....he filled a void vacated by Mushin Mohommed......and at least provided another target o/t Steve Smith.

the Panthers have NO tight end threat whatsoever (you think TN's use of the TE is poor.......check out some history of the panthers the past few years...ugh), the #2 WR is now either Kerry Colbert, Drew Carter or the Rookie Jarrett.

and it's not like they have Peyton Manning throwing to these guys.......

i just don't think the move made any sense...fiscally or football wise. they have basically made the statement with this move that they think they are A OK offensively and that no help is needed........rather DJ is simply an enhancement...........blah.

if John Fox doesn't win the division this year, he may be done in this world of what have you done for me lately anyway...and the answer is squat.

The Titans will have better use of the TE this year if Troupe can stay healthy.

As for Keyshawn, he could be okay, but only if he has a bonafide star ahead of him(TO, Steve Smith, etc). The Titans don't have a 1 WR. A trade for Moss may have worked out well, but Williams or Johnson would be bad.

I wouldn't love or hate him on the Titans. At least we would know what we're getting. I agree at this point in his career he needs a burner next to him to be most effective (Glenn or Smith) and the Titans don't have that. He would still be an upgrade from what we have and give VY a guy that wants the ball and will catch the ball. However KJ said he wanted to help a team win the SB and that isn't the Titans so it seems like this wouldn't be the place for him. They do have the USC connection going though.

KJ never was that good to begin with, if he was half as good as he thinks of himself as being Carolina would not be shipping his egotistical ass down the road.
