Keyshawn would rather retire?

Not because the Titans lost out on another solid #2 WR, but because we'll have to hear his voice.

oh great we get to see him on espn. did anyone else notice how bad he was at the draft. all he could talk about was how every reciever was talented, but not as good as him. growing up i loved some michael irvin before i realized what a big piece of crap he is. he was the worst analyst ever. he was to loud, talked to much laughed at everything that wasn't funny. and it drove me insane to see him grab steve youngs arm/hand 800 times a show

No joke that used to make me so angry. I bet SY is so happy to see him gone, I bet his arm was all bruised up.

I called it! One of my coworkers was telling me how the Titans were going to sign this piece of junk and I told him I would rather see him retire. And I'm a Titans fan.

You guys are crazy. Despite the fact that Keyshawn is NOT a premier wide receiver, he would still be a huge upgrade for the Titans. Their wide receivers are terrible. I guess Keyshawn doesn't think too much of Vince Young either.

I doubt his opinion of Vince is his reason for passing on the Titans. Playing for a below average team, and making below average money isn't worth coming back for.

Yeah, it would really be useless to come to a team whose GM could really care less about winning after this disasterous offseason. The only way he was going to go anywhere would be if he could go to a super bowl contender.

I don't think he cares about the below average team part. I think it's just about the money. He could have signed on with a team that would be a playoff team, but all he was looking at was the $$$ involved.

I'm sure he's already loaded. I think he only went to the Panthers because everyone was saying they were Super Bowl contenders. Also, I'm sure he thought he'd be pretty dominant with Steve Smith drawing so much attention. The Titans don't have a top notch WR and they aren't Super Bowl contenders.

I too am glad he has chosen not to come to Nashville. It's not all about me,me,me in Nashville.
True. In Nashville, it's all about hairspray, cowboy boots, rhinestones, and a franchise that has made choking in big games an art form.
