when i first heard this rumor when the boys cut him, i immediately said NO!!! but now that it's happened, i find myself remarkably OK with this move.

We basically got Mohommed back, in that Keyshon is a very physical guy that can catch. He blocks well which should fit in with Fox's mentality on offense, and he's worked for Dan Henning in the past.

Plus if your Steve Smith, you got to love the fact there's someone else that the defense has to worry about now. Smith may not have as statistically as good of a season this year, but it could benefit him and the team in the long run.

Plus, for Jake, it's got be a good thing......hopefully Keyshon can turn out to be what basically can be a tall rangy tight end?

anyway, i know there are a few Panther fans out here....just curious.

I think Keyshawn is a really good fit for the Panthers in that he is a hard-working guy that is a really good possession receiver. That's what the Panthers need. They already have the big play threat in Smith. I don't necessarily agree with your comparison to Muhammed because Keyshawn isn't as much of a big play threat as Muhammed. However, Keyshawn will be a very valuable asset in the red zone, and he is a really good blocker.

Nowhere. You said, "We basically got Mohommed [sic] back." I'm saying that while they have some similarities, Keyshawn isn't nearly the big play threat that Muhammed was. However, I think Keyshawn actually has better hands than Muhammed, and he's a better blocker than Muhammed.

OK...gotcha....i was reading it and going huh? where'd he get that from???

cause that's what i was alluding to...the physical nature of Johnson compared to the physical nature of Muhammed....both similar.
