I can’t quit a good Beam and Coke. Something about it screams “I’m gonna keep you good and buzzed through 3.5 quarters, if you enough of me down”.

Then post game, I don’t have a hangover because I was typically worn out cheering on the Vols.

I know they got fancier bourbons and whiskeys now, I probably could afford to pay for a bottle or two.

Beam has never steered me wrong.

Go Vols, 2022, SEC East Champs

I like my whiskey neat. I’ve started sipping Beam Black Extra-Aged. Good bourbon at a great price.

I rarely drink bourbon. Tennessee whiskey for me. Tonight’s drink was sazeracs with Dickel rye. I know they make 99% of ryes in a factory in Indiana, maybe that’s why we lost.

Thanks to friends with better taste, I've had some great bourbons in the last few years. Blanton's is lovely. Pappy is fantastic, but I've only had the standard issue. My neighbor poured me a George C Stagg over Christmas, and it was incredible.

That being said, my smell is still off after COVID last January, and I can't justify the crazy prices for high dollar stuff.

I really like Four Roses Single Barrel and Chestnut Farms, without breaking the bank.

Four Roses Single Barrel is MONEY! Great bang for the buck. If I can ever score a bottle, Rock Hill Farms is my "Special Occasion" pour.

Mostly drink untaxed whiskey or rum but I do have some store bought around. Most gifted to me from friends but I will go out and buy more of the ones I like. The Blue label Dickel is nice. The Single barrel Knob Creek is 120 proof and really one of my favorites. Someone else mentioned above and I will agree Knob Creek makes a good product for sure. I do have a liking for the Devil's Cut as a low cost option. Keep some around to sip on and for when my sons come over. Don't let them in the more costly stuff and they can't hold their shine...lol

It's very good. I was given a bottle for Christmas by a friend.

Double Oaked is very good. Was recently introduced to Wheeler’s Raid, which is also a very, very good double oak.

I’m not a Jim Beam fan, but they have a decent double oak bourbon at a bargain price.

I haven't tasted a whole lot of bourbon to compare to. But, Maker's Mark for me would be what I use to judge others by. I'm mostly into Irish, and some Scotch. Wild Turkey 101 would also be a benchmark along with Maker's. Buffalo Trace got on my "no" list after one sip.
