Maymon? Yeah i'd think he's good enough to play; seemed a pretty decently good recruit when schools were going after him last year (espn gave him a 91 rating)

He won't start. If he does, Tobias is heavily overrated and Kenny will not improve at all.

He can definitely take minutes away from Woolridge, Williams, even Hall. We are going to have a very good team next year, especially if Hopson stays.

is Hopson really in position where he'd consider leaving?

What has he done to suggest he is going to take minutes away from guys currently on the roster?

I will go ahead and concede that no matter his skill level, he can probably take minutes away from Swipersuck.

Considering how much grief Woolridge gets, I wouldn't be shocked to see him leave for more PT.

Sorry. I didn't realize that we had the President of the Swipersuck fan club on here tonight.
No such thing. Juat trying to figure how pathetic someone must be to receive a sense of self worth by constantly bashing 20 year olds who have chosen to go to UT. I am sure those around you on a daily basis feel blessed.

Dont think he will be ask to play the 5 position...very reason he left Marq....probably more of a 3-4 type of player that will create hard matchups for opposition...small at the 4 big at the 3....

Where did I say he'd play the 5?

If he's playing 3 for us, we have issues.

i think he assumed hall would be playing mostly 5 and you mentioned maymon taking PT from hall.

That's where his PT is coming. He'll be in the rotation at 4 and 5. He's coming here now because he believes he's capable of playing something else and his coach disagrees.

I agree. There is no way he's going to see time at the 3.

he and harris essentially play the same position, and supposedly both have potential to move to 3 later on. But in Bruce Ball, that is not something you would see much of. The only way Woolridge is going to see the court next year is if he learns how to shoot between now and then

Pretaining to basketball, no.

I know there is a lot of hate for Hopson because he hasn't lived up to his billing but you have to understand most people drafted in the NBA are drafted on potential. Oh and he just dropped 20 on you so you can suck it.
