Kidney Stone Removal

The wife goes in the first of the year to have some rather large one removed and they're going through her back to get them. Anyone had these removed this way? Any info. would be great.

Did you get a second opinion. My father in law has had over 7 kidney stones at different times he passed all on his on. Changed his diet and hasn't had any in a long time. I thought they had technology where they could crush them from the outside now, sonogram maybe.

She has two that are too big for them to be passed naturaly or by the other methods.

Had mine done by laser. I really don't remember much about it though, only that I had to remove the stint myself a few days later. You talking about seperating the men from the boys! I have had them off and on for years, passed some on my own and have had different proceedures to have them removed! I finally consulted with Dr. Cline at UT. He did my last proceedure and I highly recomend him!

My friend Jake is 27, he's had those damn things twice...I know he was just glad once they passed...and we all were tired of his bitching.
