I stumbled upon this recently and thought I'd share. It has 6 million views so I'd say a good majority of you all have seen it. It was well done regardless.

Also a good job of covering Pull Me Under by Dream Theater

Everything was fantastic except the vocals. The girl has a decent voice, it's just not Maynard.

I'm of the opinion Dream Theater would have been an even more badass band had they had a better lead singer. Musically, they are amazing. The high pitched vocals ruined it all.

I have to disagree, I think she did a wonderful job. Sure, I'd much prefer Keenan signing his own song but she mimic's it pretty well considering it's an 11yr old girl covering a song by Tool for heavens sake. :p I assume you're not a fan of cover bands?

I like the way LaBrie sounds. I'm not sure what sound you'd prefer but if they went with a more metal voice it would ruin the whole thing.

SIDE NOTE: Mike Mangini is now the drummer for Dream Theater. What are your guys thoughts on that?

Mangini is awesome. Portnoy is an incredible drummer, but he's apparently difficult to work with. I think having Mangini has breathed new life into the band.

Not as good as Mike Portnoy but I think it'll still be good

For kids I guess it's pretty decent. I spy lots of editing in that video though. Wonder how good they'd be running straight through the song?
