Lane Kiffen just made 18 Million + yesterday!

In addition to a $ 9 million salary - he guaranteed the same amount for next year plus additional benefits for a winning season & a bowl game……

Where do Ole Miss fans come up with this kind of money? — Tunica? - at the casinos? Only thing I can think of…..

— Unless they’re still picking “cotton”!!!!!

This is what happens when your school gets a coach who is starting to win a on a trend well above their 54% average.

Kiffin is now 31-14 at Ole Miss and likely to finish with their best season that didn't result in a championship with 11 wins....

Think about the years and money spent on constant searches with Coach 0, Houston Nutt, Freeze, Luke years..... Spending on Kiffin that looks like "overpaying" has been the best investment Ole Miss has made in decades.

He’s being the 8-4 coach that he always had been but at Ole Miss that’s fantastic.

He’s likely to have their best season ever record wise this year. If that happens, are you saying they are overpaying for their best season wins wise?

I’m just saying that so far at Ole Miss he’s an 8-4 coach and that’s what he’s been throughout his career. Yes, he will have seasons better than 8-4 but when you mix all his years together that’s what he’s always been. I don’t care what they pay him. If they’re good with that then by all means pay the man.

If they are a 54% average and he is 8-4 consistently which is 66% with 9-3, 10-2 and even an 11-1 some years. Then I can see the happiness and willingness to pay.

This is the time of year that kiffens squad usually rolls over and goes on a losing streak.

This week it’s Kiffin. I will be pulling hard for Ole Miss Saturday. All of us should be .

I had zero problem rooting for Ole Piss and Kiffin before facing our rival.

I have zero problem rooting for Ole Piss and Kiffin this week.

It would be refreshing to see a different west team take over. Sadly not this year, again.

By law, state employees in Mississippi cannot have contracts longer than 4 years. Some of the bonuses and other incentives may be a way to sort of work his compensation around that and make it closer to what he would possibly earn at another school.
