Well maybe not. First, I think it will take CBJ at least 2 more years to get us competitive again. Next year will come down to beating Vandy on the road to get into a bowl. Same scenario as this year and there is a 50/50 chance we beat them next year. With that being said, CBJ's job is not in danger, but who would come coach Tennessee anyway. We couldn't make a big splash 4 years ago when we hired Dooley and we couldn't last year either and we had to settle with CBJ. Our program is loaded with history, but that isn't going to bring the likes of Gundy, Peterson, etc to our school. Our best chances are to go all in on CBJ and his staff and see what happens over the next 3-4 years.

You can't name one coach in the NCAA that could of took this Tennessee team and done any more with it. This team had no playmakers. Our QBs had no expierence coming into this season. What does everyone expect? Butch will get this turned around and get us back on top. He has started by having the number 2 recruiting class. I have more faith in Butch than Kiffin and Dooley together.

2) Meyer
3) Dantoni
4) PSU coach
5) Stoops
6) Wash coach
7) Briles
8) Gundy
9) Stanford coach
10) Kelley
I could go on. I think CBJ's has done a pretty good job. He had only 6 years of coaching experience at lesser schools than a typical SEC team. This was going to be a tough year. We have been out coached and outplayed. As expected. But to say NO ONE could do better is naive.

I know it's cliche but you can't polish a turd...it's gonna take 2 or more top recruiting classes to get us back on the right track.
