MERGE IF NECESSARY

I was just listening to the Dan Patrick Podcast, as I always do at work, and on Tuesday Lame kiffin was interviewed and was asked about a Home and Home with Tennessee. Boy Satan said that he would be all for it and said that he thought we had a great gameday atmosphere but when Dan asked him if he would feel safe in Knoxville his reply was "Oh I don't know about that" and then went on to say that he would not be bringing his family to that game.

This is Great. Kiffin YOU ARE NOT SAFE IN TENNESSEE so stay safe in Cali or we will stick Smokey on ya.

I personally would be all for clown-stomping him if I saw him out at The Copper Cellar, for instance.

But I want to be clear......I don't hold a grudge.

He was playing along with Dan. Nothing here, move along. FWIW, Dan is homies with Neuhiesel, so hell root against the trogans.

If I ever saw him in person, I would say that I would have a very big urge to punch him in the face.

They would have to announce before he entered “FOLKS NO THROWING SHARP OBJECTS AT THE DOUCH BAG PLEASE, UNLESS I CAN JOIN IN”

I wouldn't waste the energy to urinate on Lane Kiffin if he was burning to death in front of me on the sidewalk. He isn't worth the energy it took to type this response, and he wasn't worth the effort it took to make this post. I dislike the guy intensely, but it is a misuse of time, effort, and energy to even acknowledge that he exists.

I think having him/USC in town for a game would actually be a good thing....It would be the first time in over a decade that we'd have 'an atmosphere' at a game and the crowd would actually be 'in it'. Imagine the tailgate for a night game with them....ticket prices would be out the roof and the noise in Neyland could be heard at every other school in the SEC!

ya if USC came to town we would set a new stadium record in my opinion. I would be happy to stand up on the steps the whole game..

No really Chad, how do you truly feel about him?

Kiffin is entertaining, and he is an ace recruiter, but I'm tired of this whole puss act about Knoxville.

Those old codgers who normally yell at you for standing would be tellin' you to get off your arse and scream!

You think he's serious? He plays games with the pencil-necked media just like Spurrier, et al. I'd do the same thing. It's hilarious.

He doesn't feel anymore threatened than you or I would. It is just a tired act (for me anyway).

Totally agree. Kiffin is the one that needs to let it go. He chose to leave and I don't totally blame him if things like commitment and honor are not a factor...with him they're not.

He could defuse this simply by saying, "hey Tennessee has great and passionate fans who believed we were going to do great things there and I believe we would have, however this opportunity to 'go home' to another great team and tradition was just too good to pass up. I understand their anger and really would have liked it to have turned out differently than it did. I hope the Tennessee fans can understand and forgive this."

If he'd say something like that with some hint of sincerity we'd be jerks to continue the grudge.

However he's too much of an arrogant prick to ever do something like that and he's going to get canned by Haden and his HC days will likely be over.

Meanwhile we'll have put our program back on track with a class HC and a program we can all be proud of and much better in the long term for the change.

Another silver lining in all of this mess is that it might have been one of the factors to finally upgrade the AD position.

I would rather walk down Magnolia or Cherry at minight than to walk in plain daylight in South Central LA where USC is located.
