I'm pretty certain Danny White has a great relationship with Josh Heupel and that should help us. I'm a realist and I wouldn't begrudge Heupel if he made a move that's good for his career and family.

I just want TN to make what's good for his career and family happen in Knoxville, not Norman.

I’m not opposed to paying Heupel but the reason Kiffin is getting paid so much is due to Mississippi state law. Ole Miss can only sign him to a 4 year contact. Thus they have to pay more to keep a decent coach. Eight year contract for $7 mil is worth more than $9 for four years. Especially when it is guaranteed money.

He has a ceiling though. He’s not getting $2 million raises every year to never win anything.
