I thought you guys might be interested in this. Check out this article. http://blutarsky.wordpress.com/2010/06/10/kiffin-watch-karma-is-a-*****-pal/

The extended post season bowl ban apparently carries some significant problems for USC in the fact that it allows players to transfer without penalty to another school if the bowl ban last the remainder of their eligibility.

To complete the just desserts cycle, if I’m Derek Dooley, I’m on a plane to Pasadena faster than you can say “it’s all part of the plan”. And the first person I’m speaking with is Mitch Mustain. Or his mama. Maybe pick up an offensive lineman or two while I’m out there. After all, pipelines can flow both ways.

I wonder how that "dream job" is looking about right now? This just confirms that Kiffin is not the engimatic genius like many on here make him out to be. The guy really isn't very intelligent. Everybody else in the world was turning that job down because they could see the writing on the wall. But, not dufus. He went charging in with blinders on--just like he always does.

With all the bridges he's burned, he better hope beyond hope that he makes it at USC (which just got a lot harder). It will be very hard for him to get a decent job anywhere else if you falls flat at USC.

I always thought it affected the recruit who just signed as well. For instance, Seantrel Henderson was mislead when he signed for USC. I believe he has the option to sign elsewhere now if he chooses...am I wrong?

Im not a Kiffin supporter and this is making me outragously happy. However, if i had a chance to be the HC of UT even though they were about to get the same punishment..I would be the HC of UT in a heartbeat.

We need to do the same thing to them that they were doing to us the night they left. Start calling players and telling them their options. Call their mommas and tell 'em to come bring their babies to a strong Southern School with morals and class. Bring momma in and feed her a good ole southern dinner at the Dooley's house and give her box seats to watch her baby play ball. Donated by a local business of course... lol

unfortunatlye, Dooley wont do that.

this is a time i truly wish our coach was more aggressive and if you will, "slimy."

I've been trying to get this question answered all morning. Thanks Fade. Good post.

I wonder if Monte will even be coaching anymore after USC gets off probation, which is the only reason that Lane got the job in the first place. Also, I'm sure Orgeron will leave if a major program was to offer him a nice deal such as LSU who had interest in him in the past. With the lose of 20 scholarships and the possibility of Juniors and Seniors transferring to rival schools things aren't really looking that great for USC football.

I would hope that the sanctions would belittle his ego but how much do you think he really cares about all of the penalties??For some reason someone decided to pay the imbosol 4 MILLION dollars so i imagine he's still laughing thinking how in the world did i manipulate these people into giving me this much money?

Don't be a fool, Al Davis was still a blundering idiot for the way he handled the whole Kiffin thing. And Kiffin was still pretty right about the whole situation.

And yet... it doesn't really matter to me. Somewhere in California, a semi-dellusional Al Davis is sipping on some kool-aid in front of a fireplace like Montgomery Burns, having laughs. Of course Kiffin is the sharper cookie cutter, which is why the irony of it is so great! Nevermind, I'll enjoy it myself.:good!:

I would not doubt one second that Dooley doesn't have a Southern Cal roster in his hands and is planning his calls.

Well I wish he would, because I bet Urban and Saban are all ready on it. We need us some Somoan linemen.

For some reason I don't think CDD will do anything about this and wont look or offer any of the USC guys.
Wish he would but for some reason I think he will stick to his plan which I think will be a winner in a couple of years.
I just wish we would attack the USC roster and get ahead of schedule.
