Regardless if you hate Kiffin, his firing at USC was handled extremely unprofessionally by Haden. Haden acted like a teenage, cheerleader breaking up with her b/f.
USC hasn't done anything since firing him, Haden "robbed" a foundation, they hired a drunk and they suffered their worst opening game loss in 120 years; I think Kiffin is getting the better end of the deal right now.
I think Kiffin would have recountered: "Nick has a much better job."
He put up a bunch of points on USC and good for him. However, bragging about being an OC to the team that fired you as head coach just seems like beating an empty barrel. To each their own.
And I agree. Saban does have a better job. How does that make Kiffin's OC job better than a HC position at USC? Except, maybe, for the fact that as an OC at Bama he's successful... At any other HC position...? Not so much.
I think, in this case, it's less about the fact that USC fired him and more about how they did it.
