Kiffin Thoughts on Flirting with Auburn

Poor Joey Freshwater. Everyone knows he would been on the road to Auburn if that one Miss St reporter hadn't leaked the story. He looked bad (again) and had to step back.

Real question is what happens to Ole Miss now. Actually being somewhere more than three years is uncharted territory for Lane. Most of their fans I know around here are not optimistic (at all) for a great season and expect a 7-5 type thing. Lord knows things are not gonna get much easier starting in '23 either.

Kiff is in totally uncharted territory tasked with maintaining and rebuilding a program rather than job hopping every 36 months. He has a nice salary and can coast out his contract but is losing and the helplessness of not being able to run from his present job ever going to grind on him? Hugh Freeze and others will ring some points up on the wobbly lane train and it should be amusing to watch.

Yes. Oxford is a dead-end job for football.

Can not imagine going in to inter-city leagues and asking parents to send their son to play ball for a band playing Dixie.
