I never heard a losing coach considered as out coaching the coach he lost to but have when an upset occurs. He lost against Saban. He track record at HC D1 is mediocre. Al Davis ran him out of town and so did SoCal. He has done well as OC but that is it. Style over Substance - he will not be successful as a D1 coach. The SEC has nothing to worry about if Kiffin becomes a HC in the league.
