I know it's Thanksgiving and I really am real grateful and stuff, but I still hate Virginia from the early 90's. I am thankful that Debbie Ryan survived the horror of breast cancer, and she's not even their coach anymore, but she still makes me mad. Go Lady Vols! Make a statement we'll all be thankful for!!

LVs won! Hard to make a statement with the bad ref calls. It was obvious they wanted to kept VA in the game.

A wins a win.

A win is a win, and I'm happy about that. But the refs weren't turning over the ball and missing open shots. Maybe they affected the rebounding and defense - it's hard to say without seeing the game. I'm just ready for the LVs to grind some teams down into dust, on their way to Nashville, you know? Virginia would have been a nice one to start with!

Didn't see the game but our stat lines looked good to me. The only one that looks suspicious to a close game is rebounding.

I rode the bus to Old Dominion and back for the final 8 where the LVs lost to Virginia the year the final four was in K'ville. It was a long ride and even worse the LVs missed a million layups. Then there was the great Va game where the LVs were behind by 15 and came back to win. And those two don't include D Head versus Staley where the sports writers picked the MVP before the overtime.

You are a long-time fan. Those games with them back then were so intense. It seemed like there was always something on the line, on national tv, every single time we played them. And they had Dawn Staley & the Burge sisters, brr. Dean Head was totally robbed!
