Kim Mulkey has Bell's palsy

My daughter had that when she was 8 years old. Scared the crap out of us, we thought she had a stroke. There's not much they can do about it. It basically paralizes one side of your face so when you smile or frown one side moves and the other doesn't....it looks real weird. The good news is that is typically goes away after a couple of weeks except for that small percentage of people where it sticks.

It's actually caused by the same virus that gives you the cold sores on your mouth or lips and most all of us carry that virus.

I had it for about a month three years ago, I had a lot of fun with it. Great pics.

non-story, IMO.

Bells paulsy is 95% of the time just something that comes and goes in the course of a week, and it absolutely not a big deal. Co-worker's wife had it earlier this year. It's scary at first when you don't know what it is.

Actually, I guess it is a big deal, since they're in the final four right now. At this point, her having the flu would be newsworthy.

Bell's Palsey is largely misunderstood. Nobody knows why it comes or goes. My MIL and Brother had it. Neither one has completely recovered from it and it has been years for both of them. It is not gone in a week for 95% of the cases. Hell, Jim Ross has it and has had it for like 10 years. True, it is not treatable. There's some things they can throw at it to see if it helps but basically, it's just something the body does. The truth of the matter is that it could mean something else is going on that could be more serious. I do not think it is a laughing matter at all but for the media to blow up on this thing is kind of foolish. I mean, she'll still feel the same way but she might have to patch up her eye and might have some problems drooling and talking. It's a nuisance at this point. You'd kinda have to hate it for her but most people don't like her from what i understand. I wouldn't know her if i tripped over her, however.

She reminds me of Mighty Mouse's significant other "Pearl Pureheart".

I just saw an interview with her, and she said I can handle it, and if the players can handle ne spitting in their face we will be fine. Hahaha. I love that. Im rooting for her, not them. I hate Stanford, really HATE notre lame, and Ucheat. Go get em Mulkey!!!!
