If you were the King of the NCAA for a year, what 5 laws would you enact? Any thing that you decree must stay in effect forever.

Difficulty:
- You can't make yourself King (or anyone else you know) for any longer than the initial 1 year period.
- No playoffs, that's too easy.

Mine,
1. All teams must play an equal number of home and away games.

2. Consolidate 120 teams into 8 conferences.

3. The Big Televen & the Big East must admit that they are a conference full of girls and have no business associating with real football teams.

4. Florida must leave the State of Florida to play a non-conference game.

5. The football program at the University of Alabama would cease to exist.

Id love to see 8 mega-conferences. I think it'd make it easier when it comes to bowl selecting.

Eliminate BCS bowl tie-ins. If these games are for the best, put the top 10 in the 5 BCS games. That would prevent situations like we have this year with unranked UConn playing in one of these "premier" games.

If I'm king, I'm implementing an experimental program wherein schools can pay players/recruits. My program would begin with one school at first. Let's say, um, Tennessee. UT's pay for play status would be in effect until I said otherwise. At the end of my year, I would not say otherwise.

Oh wait, I am. So here's what I'm doing.

1. Yes, Florida, will indeed, have to leave the state to play an out of conference game. However, I shall promptly drop Florida State from their schedule.

2. Get Notre Dame off of NBC.

3. Give USC a less pathetic fanbase

4. Be awesome. Oh wait, I am

5. Make two teams I really don't like play a non-conference game in Barrow, Alaska. Auburn vs. Notre Dame would be my first matchup.

6. And, #6, because I spent #4 telling myself how awesome I am, would be to decree that the bowl structure is setup like it was in the pre-BCS(note: I would keep the BCS).

So, all three BCS bowl games would be played on January 1st, and the national title game(which would be either the Rose, Sugar, Fiesta, or Orange), would be played on January 2nd.
