Per Wes Rucker..Saban says that Kirby Smart is staying at Bama. so who do the bulldogs go after now? any thought's? maybe back to Chavis?

UGA fans are rioting everywhere. They're revoking his dawg card saying he has insulted and disgraced his alma mater making them look third rate. If an alumnus walks away, what does it say for the program? To see so many top refusals something bigger is going on there. Evans finally forked out ungodly amounts of money for this program as far as assistants. And the man walks.

Dawg fans are even ranting that it was Saban who spoke for Smart. "Can he not speak for himself????"

yeah, it would sting to have an alum like that say "no", espec for $700,000 - that is insane for a D-coord (I know Monte makes a cool Mill, but that's different).

I can sympathize with the Dawgs on this one, if we were in their shoes and say it was "Al Wilson" or someone like that, we'd be furious if he turned us down. Still, I'm guessing Richt goes after the Cowboys DL coach and the guy likely takes the job that apparently no one has wanted...

Well wasn't that just a good swift kick in the nads for Richt and the whole UGA program.

The irony is that so many "insiders" including many credible ones were proved wrong when they swore up and down he was coming. And with that chunk of change out there, they have to find someone worth that or risk even more of a PR nightmare giving someone else less money.

Is it obvious UGA's football program has been Fulmered? The over/under in Richt leaving is 2 years.

Whoops!! Pollack is flossing with his shoelaces again. That's atleast twice this season he's opened his mouth just to insert his foot!! Couldn't happen to a nicer guy!

kirby smart might be a genius. He is prolly thinking why take the DC job when I can be UGA HC in a year or two.

Pollack is the worst. He is also a P*&sy he should be playing in the nfl

I'll take the under and yeah Pollack can suck my nasty socks. Hey, you know what Christopher Reeve and David Pollack have in common???

They both have a hard time reading the menu at Fazioli's...

Smart made a good decision...for him and for UT. He will have a chance to get the HC job at UGA in a yr or two if Richt is out (rebuilding year on D for them...and they were not good anyway). Glad he stayed at Bama for UT sake....I don't want him at UGA as a DC. He would make them better(in SEC East). Bama is going to be good anyway...whether I coach them or Smart does.

Chavis will NOT go to UGA. He does not want to be looking for another job after Richt is out. LSU is a better job than UGA. Chavis has no HC dreams. Stay at LSU.
