Just said on gameday that he doesn't understand the big deal about ND. Said they haven't been relevant since 1993 lol. And said why are we talking about them? Agree wholeheartedly lol.

If they'd get rid of Granny then nobody at ESPN would talk about them. Which I really hope Mark May reminds Granny he picked ND to play Florida for the National Championship.

But yes, I do find it hilarious how much attention they get considering they won the Hawaii Bowl last year and that was big news since it was their first bowl win since 1994, and they haven't been seriously in the national title picture since 1993 (not counting Granny's prediction).

Between Fat Beano Cook and Lou Holtz, ND should've been in the National Championship the past 5 years. Talk about out of touch.

hahaha @ Herbstreit. This is the first I heard of him saying that. You gotta love the truth because ND HASN'T been relevant in a long, long time!

Herbstreit said that Florida was bored this year and decided not to score a lot of points, but could have if they wanted to. Said they lacked motivation to win big but could have, at any moment, if they just decided to. That's pretty asinine.

Florida's good, but he is a Tebow nut hugger as well.

That's an extremely weak explanation and even if it were true, that would be extremly pathetic.

So he's trying to say that a team that's never had a perfect season, has a QB that could win 2 Heismans in his career, and they could win back to back NCs and their 3rd in 4 years lacked motivation?

That's idiotic.

I'd say their lack of points had a little something to do with not having Percy Harvin or Louis Murphy on their team.
