It has us at 6-0 so yeah it's updated. It doesn't surprise me. He's got a major stick up his a** about Tennessee. It just hurts his credibility to have us this low. Not that he has much. It's a power index though not a rankings list.

Stepping back, I don't want to give Georgia message board fodder or be that fan but if I wasn't a Tennessee fan but kept up with both teams, I would state this.

I don't think Georgia matches up that well with Tennessee right now. I think Tennessee's offense will score on Georgia's defense and get into their head. Heupel has a psychological advantage over opponents that I haven't seen since Spurrier with his offense. Georgia's offense has been iffy a lot (especially at throwing the ball) and Tennessee could simply out score Georgia like they did against Alabama last night.

I think Tennessee is a more serious concern for Georgia than people are letting on. I think they assume because it is in Athens, Georgia is just going to win.

However, we need to focus on Kentucky. That is a big game and Kentucky is no slouch even if I think Kentucky, also, doesn't match up well against Tennessee.

I think the one game for us to watch out for might be the @ South Carolina game.

They say pre season rankings don’t matter but you see how much they do matter in moments like this. Doesn’t matter what we do because they didn’t think we would do it in preseason. Everybody else will just continue to get the benefit of the doubt over us.

Bama and 5-2 TX above us tells me the algorithm needs a tuneup.

They put a lot of weight on Defense, especially the secondary. Unfortunately. But FPI is a useless stat, wouldn't even look at it.
