Its funny Travis Kittleson will be driving for Gibbs this weekend and its his big chance. Two minuts ago his father walked in to where I work and I helped him out. He said they are leaving tomorrow for the track. He is a good kid so wish him luck and root him on.

He's going to be a great driver. He's got a great opportunity with the #20 Rockwell Automotive team.

Wouldn't be surprised if he can get a top 10 with limited Buschwhackers. I'll be cheering him on.

Another young rookie to watch out for this week is Landon Cassill. He's driving the #24 National Guard Chevy for Hendrick.

At least he doesn't have to worry about winning the pole and running in the top 5 the first half of the race before getting replaced.

i thought this thread was going to be about the kid driving for JR Motorsports who looks like he's going to get his money's worth out of his braces.

who is Kittleson... how do you all know him, is he from TN?
He went to Merritt Island High in Fla. and so did my girlfriend Irish Angel. I met him through her. We were at a tiki bar in MI and he walked up and my girlfriend introduced me Travis and I talked racing for a while. He was very down to earth and had no sign of being cocky what so ever. Yesterday I saw Travises dad. I looked down at a document and it said ***** Kittleson an I said are you Travise's father and he said yes. That was great timeing and funny because this will be his sons biggest race and he just happen to walk in.:thumbsup:Great people
