Elderly former Ku Klux Klansman Edgar Ray Killen was sentenced on June 23 to 60 years in prison for the 1964 killing of three civil rights workers, the notorious crime that galvanized the civil rights movement and inspired the 1988 movie 'Mississippi Burning.' Former Ku Klux Klansman Edgar Ray Killen sits in the courtroom in Philadelphia, Mississippi June 21, 2005 as he is convicted of manslaughter on three counts.

I watched that this am on court tv, the jury and the judge held nothing back considering his age and health. Gave him the full 60, so he wont even be up for parole until he's atleast 100. Im afraid i cannot feel sorry for him.

Sad that it took this long to nail him, but kudos to the state of Mississippi for putting this guy away for good.
