Not shocked at all he got dealt as the Lakers were going after a center and Knecht was one of the few they had made available in the past. I despise the Lakers so I'm kinda glad but I'm also bummed for him he's gonna be on a trash team and now I'll hardly get to watch him .

Wow. The Lakers had been so highly praised for getting him with the 18th pick .... I'm not surprised. His minutes had been going down. He was somewhat inconsistent. I understand moving him, but still feel like the Lakers are making a mistake here.

Yeah, and I hate it for him he's gonna be on a cellar dweller. I wish he ended up in Dallas in the Luka deal. I wondered maybe if he'd end up in Phoenix as part of a deal for Nurkic and others. I'm holding out hope there is another trade. Wouldn't be the first time one player has been moved twice in a day. He's be a compelling piece for a team in contention imo that could be gotten for a reasonable price now. Would be much easier getting him from Charlotte than from LA, right?

Just really not a help to the Lakers. He obviously can light it up at times but he is relatively poor on D and not very athletic for the position they need. They had to have a center. Reeves is a better player as is Rui so it unfortunately had to be him and Reddish.

I hate it for Dalton. He has just gone from one of the highest profile, glamour teams in the league to a franchise nobody pays any attention to. Maybe it will mean more minutes and a larger role for him? It just became much harder to watch his games now. I couldn't tell you the last time I watched any part of a Hornets game. That is a dead end franchise. This is kind of a bummer. I was excited when he was drafted by LA.

If I'm an NBA GM needing a shooter who attacks the basket, I'm calling Charlotte ASAP. Dallas should redeem themselves and make the call.

Well he is going to a horrible team, but he will get a lot more minutes and may grow more professionally. Kinda tough, but I was growing tired of the Lakers putting DK in the corner and having him stand there watching LeBron. Would be the same with Luka. JJ said early that he wanted DK to be a movement shooter but I never saw much of it.

After Dalton survived the Luka trade thought the Lakers were invested in his future. At least hopefully will get a lot more minutes and experience.
