Too many knifes in this country. The only thing they are good for his stabbing innocent people and more violent acts. Plus, they can be used to cut and eat red meat with and we all know red meat is bad and is only consumed by the right wing nut jobs(Tea Party)

Funny thing, I don't know how it is exactly now but back when fingernail clippers were banned on airline flights, those pilots who were licensed and allowed to carry loaded firearms onto their planes could do so but they still could't carry on fingernail clippers.

Common sense just isn't all that common anymore.

I see your point. If someone really wants to kill someone, they will always come up with some kind of weapon. But you must admit, if there were no guns, there would be fewer deaths. It's easy to pull a trigger. If most people had to use a knife, I doubt they could/would because of the additional effort. Many gun deaths are a resullt of a moment of anger(Bar fights, domestic violence, etc). , rather than premeditated. In other words it's a lot easier to shoot somone than to stab someone. Alot of people would not have the strength to overcome their opponent.

Percentage wise, there are far fewer murders in China as compared to the U.S.. On the other hand, there would also be fewer deaths in the U.S. without cars.....

Wars will not cease and people will always die.

The problem is we dont punish criminals who commit violent crimes in this country. We baby them!

You talk with some guys and see if they are afraid of prison. Most will tell you no. Thats why the dont mind going back. The reward of committing crime is greater than the punishment that they get for doing it.

A gun never killed a person without an ignorant human being behind it. Get rid of the ignorant humans and you solve every major problem with America, not just guns.
